Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also referred to as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized in order to transport supplies and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one person.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated carefully. Equipment must be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make sure that the handle can turn smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop in order to lower the forks and release the air in the pump. The forks can then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be at the center to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is really dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you since the thrust can cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Gradually stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
