Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. Various businesses, from the concrete and natural stone businesses, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all working with and depending on heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep cost of operation low and provide the very best conditions for efficient work. These machinery could excel in the nearly all demanding environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp provides the required power on all of the large capacity models. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on steep slopes and rough terrain and provides great acceleration too.
The operator could use a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on difficult terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. In addition, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment simple to maneuver and comfortable to use.
A spacious and comfortable working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
