Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
The audible devices such as motion alarms or back-up alarms produce sound which has to be loud enough in order to be heard above the sound that the forklift creates in the operating place.

The sound needs to be readily distinguishable from other audible devices or sounds in the work setting. Sound must be readily distinguishable from other sound or audible devices within the work place. The audible device could employee noise exposure and end up contribute to OSHA noise limitation; therefore, care should be taken.

Hearing protection makes it harder to hear the audible device and to determine which distance and direction it is coming from. Audible devices could occasionally get deactivated from both operators and employees since they could find them really irritating. As well, audible devices may also be objectionable to nearby residents.

Additional Application and Operator Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They utilize tempered glass so as to avoid injuries. Additionally, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. The levels of noise are lessened at the operator's ear due to additional sound proofing.

Operator Selectable Performance Modes: The operator is able to choose the performance requirement for the specific application. As well, it allows a supervisor to set the unit's utmost performance for an operator who is just starting to learn. Being able to adjust and reduce the maximum performance of the unit allows a new operator to learn the operating features of the machine in a controlled environment.

Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is deactivated, a supervisor is required to activate and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be certain to manage the machine in a more controlled manner.

Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing their tail swing area, and operating space behind the vehicle.
