In order to be a successful model, a lift truck has to be powerful enough to last in all working environments for many hours of use. It needs to be able to transport loads efficiently and quickly as well. The equipment should be comfortable and ergonomically correct for the operator too.
The Yale powertrain is rugged and reliable. It needs to be strong enough to constantly deliver amazing durability through its computer-managed transmission and engine. It offers state-of-the-art clutch packs along with robust gears and extremely tough shafts. The transmission, engine, steer axle and drive are all isolated to lessen both noise and vibration inside the compartment of the operator.
Mazda and GM LP & Gas Engines:
The Mazda LP and GM Gas Engines are made from cast-iron blocks for long life. These kinds of equipment offer an electronically-controlled closed loop fuel system which requires minimum adjustment or repair. These types of engines also have hardened exhaust valve seats that lessen wear.
Yanmar and Cummins Diesel Engines:
Inside the Yanmar and Cummins diesel engines, a high compression ratio provides exceptional torque. Remarkable fuel consumption is offered by effective fuel systems.
Regular Electronic Powershift Transmission:
The electronic powershift transmission is standard on most machines. It features gears that are 15% stronger and shafts which give resistance when driving on rough terrain. The strong clutch packs offer 3 times the life of preceding packs. Lastly, there is electronic inching available which adjusts automatically so as to reduce maintenance needs by compensating for brake wear.
Techtronix Transmission:
This transmission system utilizes a computer-controlled power reversal which increases durability, extends tire life, and minimizes shock loading. Furthermore, the auto deceleration feature reduces brake wear and brake pedal usage.
Drive Axle:
The Drive Axle is designed for extra strength with its full floating, brake drum mounting axle shaft and the pinion gears and strong ring. This particular part also has optional oil cooled wet disc brakes which are practically maintenance free and entirely sealed against contamination.
Steer Axle:
To protect the steer cylinder for damage and debris, the Steer Axle features a "sandwich" design. This Steer Axle also has a fixed-length tie rods that could add extra stability and durability. The tapered roller bearings help to resist front to back and side-to-side forces. What's more, cast ductile iron axle reduces wear and increases toughness.
As part of Yale's regular packages, they have included numerous ergonomic features and safety features. These types of machinery will handle tough settings, while keeping the operator both safe and comfortable for the duration of their shift.
