Taylor's TX Series of Industrial forklifts have been designed and engineered to place greater importance on the operators comfort. The TX Series offers basic features like increased leg room and head room, shock mounted center mounted operator station, tilt steering wheel, CANbus technology for increased leg and head room and operator comfort and convenience, in addition to fingertip electric joystick controls. The TX Series is available in 5 different wheel bases, so there is definitely a model suitable for your particular application.
All of the controls on the machinery are integrated using solid state controllers with J1939 CANbus technology. This set up enables controllers and sensors the ability to communicate with less wiring between the parts. For instance, I/O modules are chosen to add consistency to the control system of the equipment and utilized to reduce electromechanical relay devices.
The J1939 CANbus technology enables all equipment data to be accessed through the main color display which is located in the cab. This specific display shows engine data along with warnings, spreader status lights and machine and man interface data. The equipment functions are capable of being tuned through the main display in the cab. Additionally, the display enables service employees to access information needed during troubleshooting. For example, information such as controller outputs and sensor status. In order to avoid operator access, the tuning functions are protected by a password.
Each and every unit within the TX Series series of lift trucks uses an electronic turbocharged Tier Certified Cummins, after-cooled or charge air to air diesel engine. Amongst the standard engine features include transmission/engine protection systems, water/fuel separator, electronic diagnostic monitor, maintenance monitor, reduced emissions and better fuel economy.
The transmission on all TX Series are 3-speed, modulated powershift, fully reversing transmissions. The inching powershift transmission and the electric roll shift control as well as a separate air-to-oil cooler. All of these features add up to a strong and effective equipment which is really reliable on the job location.
